Our Culinary Tour Of Seoul Korea In Videos.
What was definitely one of the most memorable experiences for both Tehya and myself is captured in the following series of videos (see below). We’ll take you along our culinary tour of the wonderful city of Seoul South Korea, where tradition, history, dining and a stunning modern way of life all coexist in harmony.
Day 1 of our Seoul culinary tour with clips from our flight from Toronto to Incheon, then dinner at a Korean BBQ restaurant which specializes in grilling classic Korean beef and pork belly.
Join Chris De La Rosa and Tehya De La Rosa on day 2 of their Seoul culinary tour. Today’s clip features Hyundai Mall, the Han River, navigating the Seoul subway and having Korean bibimbap for lunch.
Join Chris De La Rosa and Tehya De La Rosa on day 3 of their Seoul culinary tour. Today’s clip features a visit to Gyeongbokgung(경복궁), also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace. Then we’re off to the Bukchon Hanok Village, where we experience traditional culture (traditional Korean tea and kimchi making from a master chef, then we dress in Hanbok (Korean Traditional Clothes). We’ll have lunch at Tosokchon restaurant where we’ll have Samgyetang Soup from this famous restaurant.Then is time for some shopping at Doota mall where there’s 8 floors with over 540 stores. After that we head over to Itaewon the official international food street (where you’ll find all the international restaurants). Finally we end the day with a ride on the cable cars to the top of the Seoul tower.

Today’s clip features a traditional market city bus tour where we get on at Dongdaemoon DDP, and get off at Myeongdong where we do some shopping at Myeongdong. Then it’s time for lunch at the very popular Korean Fusion Restaurant. After which it’s time for a Korean traditional and fusion cooking class hosted by the very famous Korean celebrity chef, Chef Hyosup Shin’s Ins Kitchen. Finally it’s time to do some food shopping for the finals of the Seoul My Way competition at the Mangwon market.

Today’s clip features the Visit Seoul – ‘Seoul, my new recipe’ Korean Food Final Competition at Taepyeong Hall in Seoul City Hall. Then it’s time for a quick walk near the Seoul city hall. After which we head over to The Hongdae Area (Hangul: 홍대앞; Hanja: 弘大앞) is a region in Seoul, South Korea near the Hongik University, after which it is named. It is known for its urban arts and indie music culture, clubs and entertainments. The area is located in Mapo-gu in the western end of Seoul, stretching from Seogyo-dong to Hapjeong-dong.
